I was finding tenants for my apartment, as the previous tenant’s lease had expired and she did not want to renew. Many people came to view the apartment, but none seemed interested in renting it.
I met Jennifer at the corner of the church at PJ and told her about it. She prayed and she said Kingdom of God is within you, why aren’t you praying enough? She asked me was, “Do you speak in tongues, and if you do, do you speak for one hour daily?” I said I do, but I had not spoken for one hour for quite a while. She told me to start praying fervently in tongues everyday and have a scripture in your heart and mind
I took action immediately after that. I had bought a new coffee table and wanted to send it to my apartment. When I went there, I took the opportunity to stay back and speak in tongues for one hour, with a couple of worship songs in between.
After an hour, I decided to go back. On my way back, before even reaching the first traffic light near my apartment, my agent called me to say she had found an interested tenant who wanted to view the apartment the next day.
The next day, on Monday, he came with my agent to view the apartment at 1 PM. I prepared myself to pray in tongues again. After about an hour, the agent confirmed that the tenant was interested in renting my apartment.
The rest is history—the down payment and advance rental were released later that week.
